Get started with VIP TV in minutes
Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options. If you don't see Developer Options, go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Click on your device name 7 times to enable it.
Tip: On newer Fire TV devices, this option may be under Settings > Device & Software > Developer Options.
In Developer Options, enable 'Apps from Unknown Sources' or 'Install Unknown Apps'. When prompted, select 'Turn On' to confirm.
Go to the Amazon App Store (Search icon on home screen). Search for 'Downloader' (orange icon by AFTVnews). Click Download/Get to install it.
Tip: Downloader is free and the easiest way to install APK files on Fire TV.
Open Downloader app. In the URL field, enter: viptv.media/tv.apk and press Go. The APK file will start downloading.
Once downloaded, a prompt will appear asking to install. Click 'Install'. Wait for installation to complete, then click 'Done' or 'Open'.
Tip: If asked to grant Downloader permission to install apps, select 'Settings' and enable it.
Find VIP TV in your Apps list (hold Home button > Apps, or go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications). Open the app and enter your username and password from your welcome email.
Tip: For easier access, highlight the app and press Menu button to move it to your home screen.
Go to Settings (gear icon) > System > About. Scroll down and click on 'Android TV OS build' 7 times. You'll see a message 'You are now a developer!'.
Tip: On some devices, it may be under Settings > Device Preferences > About.
Go to Settings > Apps > Security & Restrictions > Unknown Sources. Enable the toggle for your browser or file manager app.
Tip: You may need to enable this separately for each app you want to use for installing APKs.
Open the Google Play Store. Search for 'File Commander' or 'X-plore File Manager'. Install one of these apps - they allow you to browse and install APK files.
Tip: Alternatively, you can use the 'Downloader' app if available on Google Play for your device.
Open the Chrome browser (or your file manager's built-in browser). Navigate to: viptv.media/tv.apk - The file will download to your device.
Open your file manager app. Navigate to the Downloads folder. Find the tv.apk file and click on it. Select 'Install' when prompted. If asked about unknown sources, follow the prompt to enable it.
Tip: If the install button doesn't appear, long-press the file and select 'Open with' > 'Package installer'.
Once installed, you can find VIP TV in your Apps section. Open the app and enter your username and password from your welcome email. Start enjoying your content!
Tip: Add VIP TV to your favorites by highlighting it and selecting 'Add to favorites' for quick access from your home screen.
Choose the appropriate app for your device from the downloads section above.
For Android: Enable 'Unknown Sources' in Settings > Security, then open the APK file. For Windows/Mac: Run the installer.
Open the app and enter your username and password from your welcome email.
